Pets are our best friends and when we fail to understand them, they can feel neglected. It's important to study the signals of your pet. Obvious signals like the wagging of a dog's tail is an indicator that your dog is happy. Other signals can be of your pet lying on the floor with it's legs spread shows that maybe it is bored. Cats express their feelings mostly when they are hungry, they wander around the kitchen and purr a lot. The best way to understand the signals of a pet is by watching their repetitive behavior like sitting on your chair while you're sitting there. This could mean that they need your affection and stroking or wants some attention. Cats usually try to catch your attention by rubbing themselves around your legs and feet, especially when they are want food!
For dogs, whining and stretching a lot could be a signal that they have not been taken out for a walk for a while. Pets also get emotional and they can even cry.
