How To Be Happy No Matter What!

How to be happy no matter what life throws at us!Isn’t this what we all want?
We may often feel happiness as an inside response to something nice that happens to us from the outside, which of course is great while it lasts, but then our happiness becomes dependant on that thing! until the next 'happy' thing comes along!
That's one
definition of happiness
but this type of happiness means our emotions are constantly being switched on and off and swayed this way and that as a response to an external stimulus
What we want to know is how to be happy all the time! Is it really possible to be happy all the time?
There are basically two types of happiness the first one, reactive happiness which I've described above and the other which is an indestructible type of happiness which is not affected by external events
but can this really be possible?
Many
eastern philosophies
teach that happiness is the purpose of life! and we can find it within our own hearts They say we were born to be happy, and that we can all find that kind of indestructible happiness in the midst of all our struggles
Enjoy the struggle!
It can however require effort to reveal this kind of happiness and we may need to peel lots of layers off first! We need to develop a strong focussed mind to battle with the sometimes very subtle onslaught of negativity that will by it'svery nature try to stop us becoming unconditionally happy

How to be happy? - be nice to yourself!
It's good idea to set some time apart every day for meditation or doing affirmations, twice a day is best but if you don't have the time at least once a day is good. You'll really notice the difference if you do. It's really important though, not to beat yourself up if you miss a day or two (that would defeat the whole object!)
This may seem a little selfish to some, but as you will find out when you become happier and stronger in yourself you've then got so much more to give to others!
Things don't change overnight so be patient with your self! just be persistant and you will gradually start to see a change you will start to feel different - happier for no apparent reason!
It will be really worth your while,when you start see the difference it makes in your life and of course others around you will pick up your happiness, and they'll feel happier too!
Happiness is contagious!
It's very tempting to give up when the going gets tough! I know!but that's the time you need to concentrate even more on your happiness!

There is a great book on this subject called 'The Law of attraction' written by Michael J.Losier and another called 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne both highly recomended reading.
These books are about the science of attracting more of what you do want and less of what you don't want in your life and and how to be happy! Whilst it's not a new concept - in fact it's been around since ancient times it's a fantastic idea, well worth mastering! It's really about how life works,the law of life and understaning how to be happy! Very basically you have to become on the inside (in your heart & mind) what you want to attract on the outside! In other words be what you want to attract and act as if it's already happened!
Open the door to your life!
Appreciation is very powerful tool to attract more things to appreciate! and complaining is very powerful tool to attract more things to complain about!
This is how life works! and I'm sure you can think of many more examples like this! most of us tend to see it the other way round, that it's things that happen on the outside that will make us happy on the inside but this is an illusion because it is dependant on something we may not have any control over.
However we can learn to control our own minds and when we grasp how to happy on the inside no matter what happens in our life, our life on the outside will begin to match it and we start to attract what we really want - happiness!
