First she goes into the Baker's to buy some bread and she says to the Baker "It's my birthday you know!, I bet you don't know how old I am"? The Baker says "Well you look about 25 to me love" She laughs and says "no I'm 40 today!" He says "How old!, I don't believe it!" Then she goes to the Grocer's shop to get some fruit and veg and she says to the Grocer "It's my birthday you know!, I bet you don't know how old I am"? The Grocer says "Hmmm I'd say about 29?" She says "no I'm 40 today!" He says "What!.... I don't believe it!" Next she goes to the Butchers to buy some meat, and says to the Butcher "It's my birthday you know!, I bet you don't know how old I am"? He says " oh you can't be more than 30!" she says "no I'm 40 today!" He says "Well... I'd never have guessed it!" Then she goes to the Liquor store to buy some wine, and says to the guy serving her "It's my birthday you know!, I bet you can't guess how old I am"? He says "well come over here, I can tell your age by just kissing you on the lips" "Really" she says and shyly lets him kiss her, then he says "I reckon your 40 today!" Impressed she says " yes that's right!...... Wow you can tell I'm 40 just by kissing me? He laughs and says "No..... I was in the queue right behind you in the Bakers!!
